Dr. Warthan is Double Board Certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology; fewer than 3% of dermatologists become dermatopathologists. This demanding discipline is focused on the microscopic diagnosis of skin cancers, moles, and other complex skin diseases.
Dr. Warthan grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas - in a medical family; both her father and sister are also dermatologists. She graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University and received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Warthan completed her dermatology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She then completed a Dermapathology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Warthan has published extensively in academic journals and has been quoted in the New York Times. She is respected by her peers as an accomplished dermatologist with genuine empathy for her patients. Dr. Warthan is highly trained in the latest developments in aesthetic dermatology, as well as the prevention and treatment of skin cancer and other diseases. Dr. Warthan and the staff at Warthan Dermatology Center treat diseases of the skin in patients of all ages. Medical treatments include skin cancer surgery, mole removal, acne, rosacea, skin cancer screenings, psoriasis, and eczema. Our cosmetic services include BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and fillers like Juvéderm® and Restylane®, Fractional Laser Resurfacing for deeper wrinkles and acne scars, Spider Vein Treatment, Laser Hair Removal, Photofacials for brown age spots and sun freckles, Chemical Peels, and Latisse® prescriptions.

Dr. Warthan is committed to volunteering her time to others by participating in Melanoma Monday through the American Academy of Dermatology. She also actively participates in the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, the Ronald McDonald House, and Young Texans Against Cancer.
Molly M. Warthan, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist who grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas. Her father and sister are also both dermatologists. Dr. Warthan graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Following college, she attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she graduated with Honors. She completed her dermatology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and then completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery in Tallahassee, Florida.
Dr. Warthan pioneered the research that determined that many individuals can become physically addicted to tanning or being in the sun. She received worldwide recognition for this research, appearing on the NBC TODAY show and numerous newspapers, including the New York Times and the Washington Post. Additionally, she has several papers that are published in numerous dermatology medical journals. Dr, Warthan has also participated in numerous FDA clinical trials, helping new medications to be approved for use in the USA. In particular, she has participated in clinical trials involving BOTOX, the biologic medications for psoriasis, and acne medications.
Dr. Molly Warthan specializes in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery. She is respected by her peers as a very excellent skin cancer surgeon and strives to provide the best possible dermatologic care for her patients. She continues to be committed to the cutting edge of dermatology care. Her office offers a warm, friendly environment where the patient will feel at ease and comfortable while they are receiving the best care possible and the most accurate care for treating their skin cancers.
Dr. Warthan is also committed to volunteering her time in Melanoma Monday, which is sponsored each year by the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an active member of the American College of the Mohs Surgeons (ACMS), the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS), and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).
Lindsay is a Board Certified Physician Assistant, and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology. She then completed her graduate degree from DeSales University in 2006 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She received a Masters Degree of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
After becoming a Physician Assistant, Lindsay worked at the University of Pittsburgh Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Department in 2006. She also worked with Dr. Suzan Obagi of Obagi medical products. She received the highly esteemed training under Dr. Obagi to learn medical and cosmetic dermatology. She received training in many medical and cosmetic laser procedures. Lindsay sees medical and cosmetic dermatology patients including children, adults, and the elderly. She has a special interest in the treatment of Rosacea. While working with and studying under Dr. Obagi, she assisted in cosmetic surgeries including face lifts, brow lifts, liposuction, CO2 Resurfacing, and fat transfers.
Lindsay has lived in Texas since 2009. She worked with in a dermatology practice in Frisco prior to coming to Warthan Dermatology. She joined the Warthan Dermatology Center in August of 2010. Outside of her love of the field of dermatology, she enjoys staying active with travel, running, and playing with her English bulldog, Rooney.
Ann Marie is a licensed Medical Aesthetician and Certified Laser Practitioner who has been practicing in the field of dermatology for over fifteen years. She has extensive laser training and holds certifications in five different types of lasers. Ann Marie specializes in Laser Hair Reduction, Photofacials, Laser Resurfacing, Cool Sculpting, Chemical Peels, Laser Vein Treatments, and Microdermabrasion. She also specializes in treatments for Acne, Rosacea, and other skin conditions. She performs facials, skin tightening, waxing, lash and brow tinting, dermaplaning, and color matching with Jane Iredale makeup.
Ann Marie is passionate about Aesthetics and providing her patients with customized treatments to help achieve a youthful, rejuvenated glow for their skin.
Ann Marie has lived in the Dallas area for over two years and joined Warthan Dermatology Center in May 2011. She has four daughters and enjoys volunteering and being active in her church outside of work.
Kristy is a Certified Medical Assistant, Clinically Trained Aesthetician, and Certified Laser Practitioner who joined the Warthan Dermatology Center staff early in 2012. She has been working in the she skin care field for 10 years and she specializes in laser hair reduction, laser resurfacing, skin tightening, photo facials, microdermabrasion, CoolSculpting, and chemical peels. She also has a strong interest in cosmetic consultations to develop a customized treatment plan for her patients to achieve complete facial and body rejuvenation.
A forty year resident of Richardson and loving wife of 22 years, Kristy enjoys spending her free time with her family. She is also an avid reader and loves to visit her parents in Florida as often as she can.
Kristy is dedicated to developing lasting relationships and providing skin care consultations with her many loyal patients, helping them look and feel their very best.
